MultiCraft Technician

1. Troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronic, hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing fixtures, systems and motors.
2. Determine proper layout, assembly, and installation of related systems.


3. Work with outside contractors on major machine repair and rebuilding.


4. Often work at heights safely with fall protection equipment.


5. Recognize root causes for machine performance, makes recommendations and prepares necessary corrective action.


6. Make recommendations or assists in scheduling and performing preventive maintenance.


7. Must be able to make quick, educated decisions and work well under pressure.


8. Troubleshoot DC & AC variable frequency drives, and AC & DC motors.
9. Work from blueprints, schematics, power tools and electronic test equipment.

3. Maintains and inspects airborne weapons and aviation ordnance (weapons) equipment including aircraft guns, gun accessories, noncompeting gun sights, aerial towed target equipment, small arms, ammunitions, handling equipment, ammunition suspension, release launching, and arming equipment; stores and loads aviation ammunition, nuclear weapons, aerial mines, air-launched torpedoes, and air-launched guided missiles.


4. Supervises the operation of aviation ordinance shops and storage facilities


5. Can test, troubleshoot, and repair the stores management systems at squadron level


6. Repairs, maintain and stowing aircraft and associated equipment in preparation for flight operations


7. Experience with NALCOMIS and OMA
